Hey, I’m Jules and I help people make lifelong memories
I’m an award winning, internationally published photographer and videographer with a decade of experience, hundreds of weddings under my belt and lots of amazing reviews from couples just like you!
My style and approach is raw, realistic and authentic, I mostly capture candidly and in the moment. Although I lightly direct formal groups and portraits at your discretion, the rest of what I capture isn’t staged at all. I am an observer from within your circle, dissolving into the environment of your wedding day in a journalistic way. From this I create a joyful and authentic depiction of your wedding.
My goal is for you to be yourselves, relax and have an amazing wedding day which is authentic to who you are. I love weddings that reflect a couples personalities and are focussed around people having a great time. I use my skills as a visual storyteller to capture everything that happens, creating natural and emotive photos and videos.

Photo, Video or Both?
Here’s the thing, I like variety. I don’t want to do the same thing day in day out, following a template, rinsing and repeating. I love photography and I love filmmaking, so getting to tell a mix of stories keeps me super excited and getting to capture both together is the biggest buzz!
Whether you hire me to capture your photos, make your films or both I will approach you and your wedding with a personalised approach, creating a bespoke photo gallery or film for you by getting to know you and what you like.
Photography
I believe most peoples favourite wedding photos are the ones they didn’t even know were taken. The moments that were fleeting and unconsidered, but in retrospect are really powerful. Those quick snaps on the fly with a family member or friend are sometimes the most important images when we look back in hindsight.
That’s why I have a photo journalistic approach to wedding photography. Prioritising coverage, capturing moments and documenting how the day felt rather than how it looked. I capture the day for you, not for me, so I will take as many photos of you with your family and friends as you want. My goal is to give you as many memories of the people and moments from this day as possible.
Videography
I love making wedding films. They provide deeper sensory experiences than looking at a still image, providing movement, sound and a deeper perspective of your day. Films bring things back to life, transporting you back to the moment those memories were made and allowing you to relive all of the emotions.
My wedding films are personalised, taking time to understand your personalities and preferences to create something that you will connect with and reflect your unique wedding. Some films will be slow and romantic, some faster and exciting, many will be a combination, transporting you through a range of emotions to deliver a deeply engaging film.
Hybrid Photo & Video
I strongly believe in the importance and power of both photo and video, but I understand the reasons that some couples are hesitant to hire large photography and filmmaking teams. This could be because of cost, the distraction of having multiple people wielding cameras at their wedding, or it could be because planning your wedding is already complicated enough without having to deal with even more suppliers!
If this is you, my hybrid photo and video package provides the perfect compromise between having a separate photographer and videographer, but still having an amazing set of memories through both photo and video with a consistent style. For many couples this is the perfect option to have the wedding memories that you want and deserve.
Full Photography & Videography
If you are looking for the full shebang, something that follows my relaxed and laid back approach but with no compromise coverage, then you need my most comprehensive photography and videography package.
My team of multiple storytellers working seamlessly together to create a cohesive story of your wedding day through photo and video. The equivalent to hiring separate larger teams of photographers and videographers but with the simplicity of dealing with one point of contact and and photos and videos of your wedding that complement each other perfectly.
Elopements & Micro Weddings
Planning an adventurous elopement, or those having a smaller wedding with just a few guests. Although you aren’t having a large event, you still want to have amazing memories, and I can help you with specialised coverage based around the number of hours you require.
Elopements and micro weddings are awesome, no stress, no show, just about you and your love. These are some of the most authentic nuptials I have been a part of, there are no rules when it comes to this type of celebration and that is really exciting!
