Colour Heroes
Full production of a brand video for the Colour Heroes website and social media channels.
The Brief
Colour Heroes were going through the process of a rebrand and having a new website built. They contacted us to create them an engaging, informative and story driven brand video.
What We Did
When the client approached us it was clear they had a limited budget which we had to achieve high expectations with. When planning the video we identified that we needed a family to act in the video, a VoiceOver and a number of B-roll images to convey what the company does.
As our family were the perfect target audience for people using the products created by the business we took the roles of acting within the video as well as the voiceover, as well as directing and shooting the video on location in North Yorkshire. I storyboarded and created a shortlist and then used an innovative technique to film the content whilst also being on camera. I then linked in with the branding agency and the directors of the business to produce the feel of the video, I then wrote a script for the VoiceOver which I recorded with myself and my daughter.
The Results
I was really proud of the results, and based on the budget we had to work with we managed to exceed the expectations of the client and even though this video was produced around 7 years ago is still used by the company on their website today.
